Today was worky day. Started off by filling out tax forms. Then I read crap. Then I read the help file so i could start learning how the program that i'm going to be working with works. Then they gave me data and let me play with it. I finished that and sat at my computer till lunch time. After lunch I did alot of nothing until they finally got me a copy of office. Then they taught me how to get into the testing stuff. I was eventually given 10 test cases to do, which i finished by 4:30. Thus, work was alot of nothing. YAY! Anyway, my computer is in the case of an old Gateway 2000. This means that the case is as big as a friggin cow. The actual inside of it is an athlon xp 2200, which translates to a pretty good machine. My office is the storage closet...I like having my own room tho. However, I do feel like Milton from office space because they had to move my desk to the closet and I get a blue swingline stapler. I made a comment to my boss about the fact that it should be red and he got a pretty good chuckle from that. Oh, and one more thing...They told me that it was easier to use an instant messenger to talk to each other rather than to walk 10 feet. I agreed. I get to use trillian at work now with nobody complaining. HAHA.
