Just returned from the metallica concert. I am tired and my ears are ringing. During this concert I wished I had brought a pad of paper and something to write with so that I could write down some of the many things that I wanted to make fun of. I couldn't do so at that time because Rach and Rick couldn't have heard me anyway. So here it goes...
- I have decided that I do not go to concerts enough because I just don't get to see enough girls flashing their boobs. This time, however, I only got to see one of them because her female friend was too busy doing something to her chest with her face.
- The fat dude in front of me was quite into things. His hands apparantly got very tired as his horns were often only 1 finger extended at a time. I guess this was to give the other finger a rest. Also, I never realized that listening to music was such hard work. This guy sure knew since he was sweating after a single song. I don't mean just a little bit of sweating, I mean Jake after a good video game session sweating...you know what I mean.
- The people in Ames, being the badasses they are, got a mosh pit going down on the floor. It included 3 people. It ended in 30 seconds. Impressive.
- Metallica and especially James is my friend.
- Luckily Rachael kept the tickets safe in her box for these few months since she got them. I learned that if I had kept them in my pocket they would not have made it more than 30 minutes. I can't stop playing with the crap thats in my pockets.
- There was a trio of drunk dudes that we were expecting to fall off the ledge and onto the soft cement floor below. Sadly, nothing cool like that happened.
- I got to see a ruffian being drug out of the concert...dunno what he did but he didn't look happy.
- The dude directly in front of Rachael was not happy to be there, I think his girlfriend was more interested and possibly forced him to go...maybe even buy her ticket. He sure got more interested in the music after he lit up his joint and had a good puff.
- Did I mention that the girl who showed her boobs was kicked out? Did I also mention it was before the concert started?
I guess thats all I can remember...there was more...I know there was.
